It All Starts With Subconscious Reprogramming.
How your unconscious patterns run, determines your life.
There are two ways I know of to truly make a habit and change, both involve reaching your subconscious mind in different methods:
#1 - Slow, gradual incremental changes over a long period of time. This is especially effective when you trade one habit for another. One of the best things I've heard is this:
" If you want to break a habit, make a habit." - Unknown.
#2 - Subconscious Reprogramming through affirmations. This sounds very complicated and fancy but it's not. It's rewriting the unconscious mind that runs your life, usually through morning or evening affirmations, when your mind is in a brain wave state that is most open to changing thought patterns.
It doesn't have to be a lot of time...what matters is the consistency and the timing of it.
For example, you could use this 17 minute gratitude affirmations in the morning or evening everyday and within a month or two, you'll automatically notice yourself naturally being more grateful and happy.
Why? Because you repeated a focused pattern
I like both methods and I recommend doing both. You'll reap the rewards of both and one will complement the other.
Breaking old negative patterns is challenging so why not use science and technology to help you out?
You could just get up 15 to 20 minutes earlier or go to bed that much earlier, lay down or sit up, and just relax.
Even if you don't consciously focus on every word, it doesn't matter. Your subconscious is always listening, and with time and consistency will start to believe this is the new way we act, behave and think.
Try it for two months, and if you miss a day or two don't worry. Just keep at it.
The habit I'm building besides the morning affirmations is a new consistent strength training routine that is progressive yet simple and effective.

A prudent reminder that is ever so important in this day and age...
Michael, I found your Newsletter via Gecko's repost of it - and am similarly impressed.
Its nice to see this kind of topic on SS - practical heart-centered guidance to counter the 'fog of war' that's been waged against us all. Re-awakening to our inner being (source), and reasserting it as the true authority over our lives will unbind us from the 'spell', and perhaps even counter the tech. Mindful awareness is the tool for creating the solutions.
